Workshop In School Grounds Development
An opportunity for principals, board members, teaching staff and caretakers to take a fresh look at the potential of their school grounds. Learn how to identify existing assets and examine problem areas. Understand the logical steps you can take to ensure successful development, such as:
- planning and design
- zoning your grounds
- creating outdoor learning environments
- establishing natural play space
- aligning developments with Play Safety standards
- involving and building community
- creating positive behaviour though design and collaboration
- sourcing funding
